In some cases there are  juxtapositions of conflicting elements. Ideas that are plucked from the unconscious or from primal archetypes.
Some of these are absurd and humorous, others are dark and unsettling.

Characters within the Surrealism Gallery

The surreal art works sometimes contain strange and sometimes mythical creatures or strange characters. Moreover within the

Topics of mythology, psychology are all melded together with Science fiction or Science fantasy themes. Such as time travel, space travel or alternate dimensional travel.

Another fairly regular character to appear are the menacing “Watchers”. These emotionless green alien beings from the void. They have come here to observe the human race. The watchers are green, they wear dark sunglasses the Watcher men are all bald.
